Coroner's officials Saturday identifed a 55-year-old man who died after being struck by a car on a Moreno Valley street. The victim, Roger Alan Frankford, was struck by a sedan approximately 4:30 a.m. Wednesday when he tried to cross Alessandro Boulevard near Ramsdell Drive, coroner's officials said.Frankford was pronounced dead a few minutes later."It looks like he was either running or crossing the street at the wrong time," sheriff's Lt. John Anderson said.A 20-year-old Riverside man was driving east on Alessandro in a late-model Honda Accord when the victim crossed his path, Anderson said.... read more
